    By using BE (Become the Best You) (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
    These Terms apply to all users, including subscribers and coaching clients.
  2. Purpose of the App
    BE is a personal development application designed to support growth through reflection, voice inputs, AI insights, and optional coaching.
    The App is not a medical, therapeutic, psychological, or clinical service.
  3. Eligibility
    You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where required by local law, to use the App.
  4. Accounts & Access
    Some features require an account. You agree to:
    Provide accurate and current information
    Keep your login details secure
    Not share your account with others
    Notify us of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. Subscriptions & Payments
    Some features are available via paid subscription.

Billing:
All payments are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.

Renewal:
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Cancellation:
You may cancel at any time via Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Refunds:
All refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their policies.

  1. Voice Input & AI Processing
    The App allows voice recordings to support your personal development.
    By using this feature, you agree that:
    Voice data may be processed using AI technology
    Text transcripts may be generated from recordings
    Jack Salmon may view text-based versions of your inputs
    Audio is used only for processing and personal guidance
    Voice data is never used for advertising or identity verification
  2. Coaching Access (Jack Salmon)
    Subscribers may receive coaching support from Jack Salmon.
    You understand and agree that:
    Coaching is guidance, not therapy or medical advice
    Jack Salmon may view your reflections and transcripts
    Coaching responses are not guaranteed
    You are responsible for how you interpret and apply advice
    BE is not liable for outcomes resulting from coaching interactions
  3. User Responsibilities
    You agree not to:
    Post harmful, abusive, or illegal content
    Misuse coaching or community features
    Copy, reverse engineer, or recreate the App
    Attempt unauthorised access
    Provide misleading or false information

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

  1. Intellectual Property
    All App content — including designs, branding, features, text, layouts, and AI-generated insights — is owned by BE (Become the Best You).
    You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any App content without permission.
  2. User Content
    You retain ownership of your:
    Voice inputs
    Reflections
    Journals
    Goal updates

By submitting content, you grant BE a limited licence to process it for:
AI insights
Coaching support
Core App functionality

This licence ends when you delete your account.

  1. Account Deletion
    You can delete your account at any time within the App.
    Upon deletion:
    Your personal data will be permanently removed or anonymised
    Secure backups may retain limited data for up to 30 days
    Coaching access ends immediately
  2. Disclaimers
    BE provides personal development tools only.
    We do not guarantee outcomes or results.
    BE does not provide medical, mental health, or crisis support.
    In emergencies, contact local emergency services.
  3. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law:
    BE and Jack Salmon are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from App use
    We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI insights or coaching
    Your sole remedy is to stop using the App
  4. Third-Party Services
    We may use third-party services for:
    AI transcription
    Cloud hosting
    Analytics
    Crash reporting
    Payment processing

These services operate under strict data protection standards.

  1. Modifications
    We may update the App or these Terms at any time.
    Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
  2. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
